New Moon Sixth Month Sighted From Jerusalem

The pic above was taken in Jerusalem on Aug 31st by my friend, a believer in Yeshua.  I received the email on Aug 31, 2011 at 7:54:07 PM Israeli time.  My friend, a believer in Yeshua the Messiah, was joined with another believing witness in viewing this moon, and they did not manage to see the moon the night before even though they prayed and the clouds were removed.

I am in agreement with my friend (the witness) in stating that it is the 6th month which has just begun, and not the 7th.

Why were these witnesses unable to view the moon according to the NASA data such as that presented at Torahcalendar.com?  Was the moon too close or below the horizon by the time it became dark enough?

I have an unusual explanation for that.  I suggest that the earth really is tilting, thanks to the gravitational pull of Nibiru/Elenin/Planet X or whatever is out there causing various earth disturbances.  There already has been some evidence of the earth’s tilt changing.  The magnetic pole has been shifting even according to Tampa airport, but this may not have any bearing on the viewing of the moon.  However it does show a major earth change.

A change in the earth’s tilt may have an effect on where the horizon is located in reference to the moon.

Blessings through Yeshua the Messiah.  Keep looking up, your redemption draws nigh.

Hey, Ted~ Just finished reading Ex 12 & Lev 23 this a.m. studying Peter in Acts 2 & 2 Pet about the signs of the times… VERY interesting that you sent this on Rosh Hashanah and the Feast of Trumpets… I learned a lot from your MOON talk, too. been learning about the LORD given Jewish Calendar and His Modim, also.

TODAH RABAH, my Brother. Say~ when you read Shalom from right to left in Hebrew: Shin, Lamed,….., Mem – which one is the blank? is it Vav? can you explain?

    Enjoy your apples and honey!

Hi Carole! Yes, Shalom is spelled shin, lamed, vav, mem sufit which is the mem form which appears at the end of a word. The vav is just a line.

Yes, the New Moon last month was sighted on the 31 August. Tonight we were in Jerusalem and did not see the New Moon – even though the NASA data agreed (for once) with the rabbinical calendar that tonight should have been the start of the 7th month. According to the sighting, it's not! So we will look again tomorrow night and if we see the sliver of the new moon, we'll blow the shofar to announce the Day of Trumpets which is the countdown to Yom Kippur and Feast of Tabernacles.

I'm so thrilled that you've been studying the Moedim – the Appointed Times of our LORD! It's an adventure that continues well into the future, according to Zechariah 14 and beyond.

I ate some apples and honey today – yummy!!
