Taking the above articles into consideration, esp. concerning Lacunza, I really recommend prayerfully reading Duncan McDougall’s “Rapture of the Saints.” He certainly offers enough evidence to make you doubt this beloved doctrine for good:

On another note, while I don’t necessarily agree with Tim McHyde‘s articles on the rapture, I do find that his take on other prophetic subjects such as the return of Yeshua (Jesus) to be quite helpful in finding the way to truth.

I have a serious question. I am trying to understand how a post tribber thinks.
Assuming that the post-tribbers are correct, what are you looking for to know when the tribulation has started?
Is it a particular war? A powerful leader? A nuclear exchange? Another peace treaty, Another earthquake, another famine, another beheading, another comet, another eclipse? What would the headline on the paper have to read so that I (as a pretribber) know that I was wrong and you were right? Is there a special sign? People falling into sin?
There have been powerful leaders in the past, and nuclear exhanges, peace treaties, earthquakes, famines, beheadings, comets, eclipses, and wars against Israel in the past. People have been sinning since Adam.
Seriously, I am trying to establish an event where you can say that you were right and I was wrong. Would they have to start doing animal sacrifices on the Temple? Do you have to wait for the abomination of desolation.
The only sign I would know about was that I saw the first seal opened in heaven. But if I weren't there to see it, how would I know that it happened?
Exactly what are we looking for to see who the winner is? And it can't be a monetary bet. Because if I win, you can't pay me. If you win, I would pay you. So it is not an even bet.
Seriously. What would a pre-tribber see as a sign that they were wrong? When would I know that it was time to repent?

Let me follow up my previous answer with a question. You had asked;

In addition to the question in the first sentence of the above article, I can also ask you:
"What are you looking for to realize when the 6th seal has been opened (Rev. 6)? Once the sunlight goes? Or after sunlight AND the moon turns 'to blood?' Or will you hold off the decision until the atmosphere rolls back?"
The reason I ask is, as far as I can tell, the first 5 seals have already been opened.
Religious freedom in the USA has largely been an escape from the kind of persecution that those saints "under the altar" are crying out for in Rev. 6:10. Just remember that Rome has killed 50-100 million "people of the Book:" Protestants, Jews, Aramaic, etc. Haven't you read Foxe's Book of Martyrs?
The purpose of my article was to show that a significant Jewish Tetrad of "blood moons" WILL occur in 2014-2015. Astronomers' data on eclipses is down to the millisecond – they've had lots of practice.
By then, this MAY signal at that time that the 6th seal is in full swing. It should give us pause, that the Jewish Tetrad will occur exactly in the middle between the blood moons of 2011 and 2018. I'm not insisting it's the 7-year Tribulation, I'm just saying 7 is a Biblical number, Abba still calculates His Calendar according to Lev. 23, and 4 consecutive blood moons may be part of the 6th seal.
